DELIVERY CHECKLIST
All necessary preparations to ensure the safety of your yacht will be taken prior to departure, including protection of on board components to minimize wear and tear while underway. To make sure your yacht is ready for delivery and capable of a blue water voyage a few things are needed:
- LEGAL PAPERWORK AND DOCUMENTATION OF THE YACHT:
-Copy of Owner's insurance including coverage in all waters necessary for the completion of the delivery -Signed agreement between Captain Chris Beardsley and the owner / broker of the yacht
-Full inventory of the yacht's contents
- ALL REQUIRED SAFETY EQUIPMENT INCLUDING:
-PFD's and man overboard recovery system
-Flares
-VHF Radio
-Proper anchor and rode
-Required number of fire extinguishers in working order
-First Aid kit
- CONDITION REPORT INCLUDING SURVEY OR RECENT INSPECTION OF:
-All engine fluids changed and checked
-All filters changed and spares provided on board
-Impellers changed, with spares on board
-Belts checked and spares provided
-Thru hulls in working order
-Bilge pumps in working order with float switches
-Manual bilge pump
-Steering system functioning properly
-Available navigation equipment on board
-Sound hull and deck
-All deck fittings secure and sealed
-On Board tool kit
